SLIIT graduates get paid less ?

SLIIT won the gold and silver medals in NBQSA this year proving that it can compete with the best when the occasion demanded. While SLIIT is primarily a institute where the focus is on Information Technology , common belief is that most IT companies pay less for SLIIT graduates.

SLIIT wins gold and silver medals in NBQSA

Two fourth year projects of Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology ( SLIIT ) has won the gold medal and the silver medal in the National Best Quality Software Awards ( NBQSA ). For the final six three projects from SLIIT were selected along with three from University of Moratuwa (UM). For SLIIT to emerge winners after competing with established universities like is a great achievement. This highlights the fact that SLIIT has come a long way in a short period of time and SLIIT student can held their own against the best. Congratulations to the winners and lets hope SLIIT can keep up the good work.
