Whats so special about Slumdog Millionaire

After watching Slumdog Millionaire I can't understand why it won so many awards ? It's a good film with a different theme no doubt about it , But is it that great to win so many awards ? I don't think so.
The story line was different and the movie keeps you engaged until the end and it shows you some of the hardships faced by the people in India and poor people in general. Definitely a movie worth watching

With lots of browsers going around these days it sure is pretty hard to find one common way to do things in all those browsers. How to make a website your home page is one thing that is different in almost all the browsers. Why cant they all agree on one simple thing for every browser is beyond me. However I like the IE and Chrome approach of letting you set multiple sites as your home page. Google goes one step further with there browser Chrome , you can specify few sites that will start with the browser but have a separate home page as well. No wonder they own the internet :)

Weebly

Weebly is a web site where you can create your own websites for free. Its pretty easy to create a website using Weebly and there are plenty of options to create a web site that matches your needs. Most importantly you can get some good back links using this method. As you might expect my first web site was about Making money blogging. Lucking I managed to get a good sub domain name that is rich with keywords. You might not get so lucky so better start creating those websites now.

First visitor from Google

My squidoo lens about Habarana got its first visitor from Google and the search term was Habarana guest house. This was a bit of a surprise since I has only added it a few days ago. The success of my squidoo lenses are surprizing even myself. Looks like Google index them quickly and place a lot of trust in them as well. One more reason to build up more squidoo lenses :)

First day of the year

Yesterday was a half day for us , actually its not fair to call it a half day because most of the time is spent on having breakfast and exchanging gifts. I gave a shirt as the present and received a tie and cuff links as a present. Since we had the afternoon free we decided to go and watch Madagascar - Escape to Africa. It was not as cool as the first one but it was ok. I like the penguins the most :) . After the movie we went and played Dota , well not the best way to start off the year but at least I had fun.
